Update
This has been a tough week for poor little Jack.
He has his first ear infection, and while it hasn't been dreadful (no fever, and the pain hasn't been overwelming) it has made everything just a little harder to bear.
That has meant that there hasn't been a lot of spare adult time to make notes here. Nor, for that matter, has there been much to say. A sick baby is demanding, but doesn't really make a lot of exciting new discoveries.
But there is evidence that laughin Jack is on the mend. When I left for work this morning, he was doing a very good imitation of a myna bird -- everything Dad said, Jack imitated. Right down to the deep, throaty chuckle with which Rod punctuates his conversation!
It was hilarious -- especially because Jack has mastered Dad's sly wink...and there are few things funnier to see than a winking toddler!
